Where are you from?

I am from Rennes, Brittany, France.

What excites you most about working at TriggerMesh?

Tackling cutting edge problems of the future of application design. Dealing with autonomous agents that collaborate to work through events is a tough problem. Doing it on top of Kubernetes to build enterprise products that solve real problems is super exciting. Yesterday, I took the time to write a small "Target" (aka a sink) in Python. I wanted to build some kind of a “wire tap” for our Bridges. I spent a couple hours getting a target together, using boto3 to talk to DynamoDB, brushing up on the latest cloudevents spec and "Boom", suddenly I was storing all the events from my Bridge in DynamoDB. I love moments like this, simple, enjoyable, yet rather cutting edge.

What do you do?

I am the co-founder with Mark Hinkle and product/engineering lead. Aside from the company wide work and coordination, I spend a lot of time talking to customers and partners to make sure we are working and building the right product for people. In terms of engineering, I act as our main product owner and make sure everyone has what they need to do their best work. When I have time (uninterrupted time that is) I go back to the terminal and do some small prototypes or testing.

What are some of your interests and passions?

I enjoy the outdoors. I really don't do any electronics or “geek” work as hobbies. Once I am done with work, I like to get outside. I used to run marathons, but now I hike in the mountains. I also play golf quite a bit. In the summer, I do a bit of sailing and fishing from time to time, and I love camping with minimal gear. But there are not enough days/hours in the day to do all of this. Sometimes, I just slouch on the couch and browse Netflix for 20 minutes before giving up on finding something to watch :)
