Co-founder and head of product
Sebastien is a co-founder of TriggerMesh. He has been involved with open source for almost 20 years. Sebastien is an Apache Software Foundation committer and an early contributor to the Kubernetes ecosystem. Around 2014, he became fascinated by the meteoric rise of Docker and decided to learn as much as he could, which led him to author the O’Reilly Docker cookbook. It was this experience that introduced him to Kubernetes, and it was love at first Pod. Sebastien became an early and active participant in the CNCF space, contributing, building, teaching, and innovating. He founded TriggerMesh to push the boundaries of the serverless space and allow all companies to benefit from this new paradigm, even those with on-premises applications.
Chris Baumbauer is a self-described jack of all trades type of engineer who has dabbled every piece of the stack from operating systems to web development, and mobile to high-performance computing clusters. Prior to joining TriggerMesh, he has worked across multiple institutions from academic computing centers, large software shops, to startups, and lately freelancing for small businesses to enterprise customers. When not writing code, you can find him flying, brewing, writing, or playing sax.
Pablo Mercado De La Higuera
Pablo is an Engineer at Triggermesh where he enjoys the perks of working on a distributed eventing system atop of Kubernetes. He started his professional journey more than 20 years ago, last five at startups around Kubernetes and open source technologies, being the founder and active member of the Seville Kubernetes Meetup. There are some other duties Pablo takes care of like traveling with his family, playing board games or strumming the guitar with his band.
Finance operations manager
Heather has operated in many sectors of the finance world and enjoys all aspects of working in the numbers game. Before living in North Carolina, Heather worked with Allen Wine Group, a CPA firm specializing in wineries, in the Santa Rosa CA mountains. Moving on to a position in cloud accounting with San Francisco based company BBK - Beyond Bookkeeping- where paper was fully eradicated from her day to day to a Finance management role for startup InspectionXpert based in Apex North Carolina. Heather holds the role of Finance Operations Manager with TriggerMesh having extensive knowledge in both finances for small startups to larger publicly traded companies. In her freetime she likes to paddleboard and enjoys being in nature, as well as attempting to choke people in jiu jitsu. When she’s not on the mats or outside, you can find her with a macchiato (traditional, of course) and a book (most likely on finances).
Press and analyst communications
Ray George has worked in a PR and marketing capacity with venture-backed B2B start-ups since 2000. Some of the companies he’s partnered with include Ansible (acquired by Red Hat), Cloudera (NYSE), MuleSoft (acquired by Salesforce.com), Puppet and Nimble Storage (acquired by HPE). Ray is based in Santa Barbara, CA. Ray loves reading, travel, discovering new music and Tottenham Hotspur! Fun fact too Ray was once in a band with the drummer of Foo Fighters where they played Rush and Led Zeppelin covers.
Timur has started his career almost 10 years ago as a system engineer in local Telecommunications companies. After a few boring years of corporate routine, he switched to startup projects focused on open source technologies and has absolutely no regrets about it. Timur has occasionally given talks about the Serverless at regional GDG conferences. Sometimes he considers himself as a "digital nomad" as he can spend half of the year straying across the Eurasia continent petting local cats and dogs while continuing to write the code.
Senior Solutions Architect
As Sales engineer and customer success lead for TriggerMesh, Chris helps prospective customers understand how TriggerMesh can accelerate a shift to event-driven architectures with open-source, API-based integration on Kubernetes and Knative. Chris is an AWS Certified DevOps Engineer and earned his BS degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland. Outside of work, Chris enjoys finding great restaurants and increasing his max deadlift (currently 555 lbs).
Jonathan Michaux is in charge of product management at TriggerMesh. He previously spent 8 years at software companies building products for API management, application integration, and microservices. He lives in Nantes with his family, where he sneaks out for a surf when he can. He is forever in search of the perfect espresso.
