What is Business Process Management (BPM)?
Defined by BPM.com as the “discipline involving any combination of modeling, automation, execution, control, measurement, and optimization of business activity flows, in support of enterprise goals, spanning systems, employees, customers, and partners within and beyond the enterprise boundaries,” Business Process Management is a practice of the processes to fulfill a business objective. BPM is about improving processes, and done so by those concerned with the improvement of a process.
